Baptized and Sent - Mission Sunday
In response to the Lord’s call to spread the Good News and to appreciate
the extraordinary month of Missions, on November 3rd, the Pushpashrama
shrine organized Mission Sunday after the English mass and Konkani mass
respectively. The community prepared sumptuous breakfast which included
dishes such as Idlis, Pork Bafat and Koorgese Pork. Tender coconuts,
plantains, spinach, tapioca and other vegetables were put to sale. The
brothers also put up games which were entertaining and delightful.
The altar servers and the neighboring congregations also did their part
in helping us to organize the same. The lay missionaries (ICPE) also put
up an act to publicize their charism. The event was thus a grand success
and the amount collected would be forwarded to the diocese for the
mission purpose.
